This page provides information regarding application procedures and auditions for each degree course, as well as regulations governing admissions and studies at the Manufacture.
In 2025, an entrance exam is hold for the Bachelor Théâtre. Classes will start in September 2025.
The next auditions for the Bachelor in Contemporary Dance will take place in 2026.
The Master in Theatre will cease to be offered and will not accept any new students. The Master in Scenic Arts (MArS – Master en Arts Scéniques) will take over from the start of the 2025 academic year, with an interdisciplinary programme combining choreography, scenography and stage direction, designed to meet the contemporary challenges of the performing arts.
Admission to the Bachelor in Theatre results of a two-round competitive audition, held two times every three years. A class of 16 student actors is formed after two rounds of auditions.
The next auditions will take place in 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

- First round: April 2026
- Second round: 1st weekend of July 2026
5-days probationary training for successful candidates in the first round. The results will be announced on the evening of the last day.
The auditions take place at La Manufacture in Lausanne.

Admission to the Bachelor in Contemporary Dance results of a two-round competitive audition held in spring, two times every three years. A class of 14 student dancers is formed at the end of the auditions.
The next entrance audition for the Bachelor in Contemporary Dance will take place in 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Admission to the Master in Scenic Arts results of a two-round competitive audition, held every other year. A class of 12 student is formed after two rounds of auditions. The first round is based on an application and the second round takes the form of a 3-day probationary course at La Manufacture.
The next auditions will take place in 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
