Life at the Manufacture

The Manufacture offers its students a pleasant living and working space in a very convivial atmosphere, thanks to the human scale of the institution.

The school is open 24 hours a day, allowing students to work and rehearse whenever they like under the best possible conditions.

Students have their own kitchen and a large cafeteria, plus a relaxation room.

They have access to the library at all times.

This organisation offers a great deal of freedom and goes hand in hand with students assuming their responsibilities. It is their job to manage rotas for cleaning and tidying the kitchen and laundry room, to make sure doors are locked and lights switched off behind them; in short, to live as they would in their own home.

Full-time Bachelor and Master students studying dance and theatre, and stage technician apprentices, rub shoulders, and together build artistic projects and lasting friendships.

After the completion of studies, the Manufacture remains a place to meet and work not only for graduates, but also for the many professional artists who organise or take part in workshops, research projects, continuing education, service provision, etc.
