Agenda – Simone Aughterlony

Emerging from an inquiry into the notion of the "stranger" and the concepts of estrangement, difference and encountering others that underlie it, Agenda proposes to approach this lingering and politically charged question through the lens of the collage. As a collection of pieces of other things, the collage treats space as a canvas where found sources and references accumulate and maintain an impossible proximity. Like our world, it sustains an enduring dialogue of contradictions and meanings. A collage shaped from the content provided by the thirteen dancers, Agenda questions the nuances of coexistence versus conflict and the way affect shapes the spaces we inhabit.

DRAMA. ApocalypticDanceFloor – Marcelo Evelin

The word DRAMA means "action" or "to take action" in Greek, and in today's life it can mean an overreaction to a situation or to blow everything out of control. DRAMA takes the body in its excitement, brutality, rage, joy and fragility. It leaves room for dissent – in opposition to harmony – to allow the embodying of the dancers' desires, conflicts, and paradoxes. A constant and brutal flow of bodies moving in space and confronting each other in their otherness, to which the energetic and irreverent music of the Brazilian electronic trio Tantão e Os Fita responds. A music to be danced on an apocalyptic dance floor.
