Jeanne Gumy

Jeanne starts dancing at the age of 3. She enters the Conservatoire de Fribourg in pre-professional section at the age of 13 until she obtains her certificate in contemporary dance and her maturity diploma. She continues studying dance with the bachelor's degree in contemporary dance at the ZHdK in Zurich where she dances for Lorand ZACHAR, James COUSINS, Teresa ROTEMBERG and Isabelle CHAFFAUD & Jérôme MEYER. After one year, she decides to change schools and enrolles in the bachelor's degree in contemporary dance at La Manufacture - Haute école des arts de la scène in Lausanne. Her practice of singing, martial arts and theatre intensifie. She then dances with choreographers David ZAMBRANO, Thomas HAUERT, Elina PININEN, Gabriel SCHENKER, Mark LORIMER, Ioannis MANDAFOUNIS, Cindy VAN ACKER, Marco BERETINI, Martin KILVADY, Lia RODRIGUES, Hisako HORIKAWA, Grégory STAUFFER, Nina MARTINS, Eugénie REBETEZ, Géraldine CHOLLET, Fabrice MAZLIAH and Mathilde MONNIER. As soon as she leaves school in the summer of 2019, she dances for Simone TRUONG's new creation in Zurich.
